Richard Mueller exhibits regularly in Canada with the Sattler Glass Gallery, LaHave, NS and Studio 21 in Halifax, NS. His work is currently on view at both of these Canadian galleries. In the United States, his work may be seen at the Allyn Gallup Gallery in Sarasota, Florida and Design Within Reach studios, Estero, Florida. Additionally, his work appears in exhibitions at public and private galleries throughout Canada, Germany and the United States.
The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia has recently added eighteen major works by Mr. Mueller to its permanent collection of contemporary Canadian art and this work is periodically on exhibition there. In Europe his work is in a number of private collections and in the Museum Moderner Kunst, Passau, Germany. He has recently been asked to complete another series of glass and wood works for Sattler Glass Studios that will show in Canada, and the USA within the next eighteen months
Mr. Mueller has a twenty-year history of teaching Cultural Studies, Pedagogy and Studio courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels with NSCAD University in Halifax, NS. Additionally, he has developed and taught drawing and theory-related courses for the Dalhousie University School of Architecture. Mr. Mueller retired from NSCAD University as of January 1, 2009 and continues to teach individual courses at both universities. He now maintains studios in Florida and Nova Scotia.
